“DISCOVER JAPAN” Gourmet Island hopping Vol.5【 北海道 HOKKAIDO 】

We are holding gourmet fair at 「THE PUBLIC SIX」「THE PUBLIC RED AKASAKA」from January 15th.
This time, we focused on “HOKKAIDO prefecture” and will provide “THE PUBLIC”‘s
original local cuisine menu using specialty food and drink.

HOKKAIDO has many local speciality foods  and Japan’s brand Whiskey and more!!!

We are one and only Gastro Pub in Japan and provide meals using Japanese fastidious ingredients.
Let’s try!! Our original North-island gourmet menu, just for this winter.

Baked potato “Kumpir” with salmon roe , salmon and salted squid
Roasted potatoes developed in Hokkaido that are also recommended varieties, Akari Kita, for 1 hour.
Turkey’s fast food “Kumpil”, the world’s best baked potato, is salmon and topped with salty salt and arranged in Hokkaido style. “Baked potatoes packed with Hokkaido”.

Grilled lamb “Genghis Khan” with Spice rice
Genghis Khan, a local dish that represents Hokkaido, and THE PUBLIC’s popular menu “Spy Slice” are fused.
An appetizing fragrance of original spice and a juicy grilled lamb in sauce, a plate of dreams that combines Genghis Khan and rice.

Japanese lake smelt & chips
Smelt fishing, a northern activity.
Expressing the best part of the fish right after fishing with tempura as PUB classic fish and chips.
THE PUBLIC’s original tartare sauce, Matsumae pickled tartare, made with Hokkaido’s famous Matsumae pickles
Enhance umami even more.

Ahijo of Hokkaido cod and cod milt
Hokkaido winter ajillo that combines Hokkaido bonito with seasonal savory rich salmon roe.
The garlic oil, the soft texture of the milt, and the crunchy bucket and the worries of the winter season.

Terrine de chocolat
A terrine de chocolate using ‘Single Malt Yoichi’ made at Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido, characterized by its smoky and strong flavor. The smooth and elegant taste is unique to Japanese PUB.
Not to mention coffee, this is an adult chocolate terrine that has excellent compatibility with whiskey and brandy wine.

Night Butterfly  ~ SUSUKINO ~
An enchanting short cocktail inspired by Sapporo’s entertainment district Susukino.
Although it is similar to blueberry, it has a unique flavor and sourness, and it has a lot of nutritional ingredients such as calcium, iron, vitamins C and E that are not comparable to other foods and fruits. It is said to be a Hokkaido specialty fruit. The glossy ruby color and the cream white are beautiful to the eye.

YOICHI Irish Coffee ~ Japanese Style ~
Irish coffee, which is said to have been born in Irish PUB, was made in Single Malt Yoichi, a town also known as Scotland in Japan. Add the Baileys to the cream above and enjoy the taste of Irish coffee to enjoy the feeling of mixing sweetness and bitterness with the taste of Japanese PUB.

KATSUGEN Haskap mojito
A mojito full of lactic acid full of fruit, using a lactic acid drink “Katsugen” and white wine, which have been loved in Hokkaido for 50 years, and decorating a frozen lotus cup. A cocktail that has a sweet taste and a refreshing aftertaste.

GIN & GUARANA TONIC  *Non-alcoholic drink
An energy gin tonic made with tonic water, a carbonated drink called “Garana”, a soul drink loved by Hokkaido residents, and gin, which is a fusion of homemade spices. Nourishment with ingredients contained in spices and ‘Garana’!
